The index is anchored to a base value of 100 on 01/01/2026 and is rebalanced quarterly, with constituent lists and weights updated on the effective rebalancing date.
The VALT Score is a weighted fundamentals scorecard that measures cryptocurrency strength across four dimensions: Volatility (50%), Adoption (30%), Liquidity (15%), and Tokenomics (5%). Assets with the highest VALT Scores are selected for the VALT10 index, representing cryptoassets with the strongest combination of price stability, real world usage, trading volume, and sustainable token economics.

identified by the VALT Score from Crypto Owl.
VALT10V (Venture): Inverts or modifies the internal weighting of the VALT Score framework. It purposefully targets early stage, emerging digital assets that display Adoption momentum but still possess high Volatility and lower market caps.
How the VALT10V framework shifts for Emerging Assets
To spotlight emerging projects rather than established cryptocurrencies, the fundamental components of the VALT scoring system are adjusted:
- Volatility Filter Inversion: The standard VALT10 index penalises volatile wild swings. The Venture version accepts or rewards higher price velocity, acknowledging that early stage growth assets are inherently volatile.
- Adoption Velocity Acceleration: It focuses heavily on the rate of change in new active wallet addresses and on chain transactional growth over a short 30 day window.
- Liquidity and Tokenomics Floor: Instead of ranking by total deep book liquidity, it uses liquidity simply as a safety floor to ensure the asset can be safely traded without catastrophic slippage.

VALT10V is the emerging segment of the CRYPTO 100 family of indices, designed to highlight the 10 cryptoassets that are still developing within the rules based VALT framework. It provides a simple way to identify newer or less established names in the universe while staying anchored to the broader CRYPTO 100 methodology.
